Craig Watson has been a P.G.A Professional for 31 years in 2012, in which time he has gained vast knowledge in all aspects of the golf business. You will always find a warm friendly welcome and the answers to all your golfing questions. Craig has been Head Professional at Cambridge Meridian GC for 6 years now. You will also receive a friendly tail wag from Daisy, Craig’s yellow Labrador who is always on hand for a cuddle.

Lessons at Meridian.

Craig offers golf lessons to visitors and members alike. Craig is now one of the Cambridge Golf Partnership senior coaches and coach to the  CAGU under 16 & 14 squad. Lessons are available indoors, on the practice ground and on the golf course. Craig is also the chairman of the CAGU junior golf.

Craig’s lessons are very simple and effective and you will always leave with a great deal of information and drills to help your game. Craig believes that you can’t teach a method to all players so his philosophy is to adapt to his coaching to suit each individual.

Custom Fit studio.

Craig is a fully accredited club maker and is very competent in club fitting. With the help of all the latest technology Craig will fit any club to suit your game.

Brands fitted are Snake Eyes, Golfsmith and Orka Golf. Craig can fit anything from 1 club to a full set and all details are kept on record for future reference.

Custom fitting sessions are bookable and usually last 45 minutes. We will measure, swing speed for shaft type and flex, lie angle and shaft length, grip thickness and type
