Cambridge

first class tuition. The clubhouse offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with
dining room, bar and terrace over-looking both the spectacular 1st and 18th
holes. |

And as
Peter
Alliss said "Meridian is a club which offers local golfers of
all standards and walks of life a level of playing and social facilities which
most can only dream of enjoying at such a realistic price". |

"When we first saw Cambridge National
we realised it was destined to be something
special - very much a championship course of the future. The use of
five lakes
and a small river running through the course provides a test which is fair but
exacting . The mark of a good course is one which is interesting and challenging
to the best of golfers and yet an enjoyable experience for the average player".

Peter Alliss
and Clive Clarke
have achieved just that at the National. Having opened
in 1994, the course is rapidly growing in reputation, quickly fulfilling its
promise. It is exciting watching the course reach maturity and taking its place
as one of the jewels of East Anglian Golf. |

The club, although
privately
owned by Vivien Saunders and
Jenny Wisson, has a thriving Member's Section
and new club members are always welcome. Visitors to the course are always
warmly welcomed and encouraged to come back again! |
Pay and Play is available throughout the week
and after 10am on weekends, depending on tee availability. The course features superb short game and long game practice areas,
putting green & practice nets. The clubhouse offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with
lounge, bar and terrace overlooking both the spectacular 1st and 18th holes. Our
Club Secretary, Steve Creighton,
will offer you a warm welcome, and invite you to spend some time at our bar,
where our real ales and fine wines speak for themselves! Our Bar meals and
famous Baguettes are becoming renowned in the area - why not pop in and sample
our fantastic food for yourself? |

The course is fast becoming a firm favourite locally for PGA and County Championships and as a
Society and Corporate venue there are few courses to
rival it in the area. With championships tees to bring the playing length to
over 7,200 yards, Cambridge Meridian has the pedigree to become a major
tournament venue for the 21st Century.
